Background
Command Your Brand is a premium podcast PR agency helping business leaders get featured on top podcasts. Exchange Four took over their underperforming Google Ads account.
About Command Your Brand
Command Your Brand books founders and CEOs onto podcasts, describing its work as running from message architecture through to show placement. The buyer is an individual executive rather than a company, and the product is authority — which makes lead quality far more important than lead volume, since the sales conversation is a considered one.

The challenge
- Only 1–2 qualified leads per week — insufficient for growth targets
- 23 campaigns running simultaneously with no coherent structure
- High cost per conversion with low lead quality
- Campaigns never paused or optimized — just accumulating spend
“We went from 1 lead a week to 10-12 overnight. Exchange Four restructured everything and the results were immediate.”
The approach
- 01Full Google Ads audit and campaign restructure across all 23 campaigns
- 02Removed low-performing campaigns; consolidated into high-intent groups
- 03Bid strategy overhaul: shifted to target CPA with conversion tracking
- 04Landing page optimization for B2B service lead generation
What paid search work involves
Paid search is bought attention, so structure decides whether it pays. Campaigns are built around buyer intent rather than product names, budget concentrates on the searches that convert, and the terms that waste money are excluded deliberately. Conversion tracking has to be right before any of it can be judged — an account without it is guessing.
Reading the numbers
One to ten qualified leads a week is a tenfold change, but the number worth holding is the weekly rate, not the multiple. At one or two a week a pipeline cannot be forecast — there is not enough volume for a close rate to mean anything. At ten a week it can be. That shift from unpredictable to measurable is usually worth more to an owner than the raw increase.
